I'm a second year student at Mohawk College in Hamilton studying Software Development. I have a background in computer networking and have spent several years developing front end applications for the web.
Computer applications are a tool to help an end user perform a task and hopefully make their lives easier in the process. I approach my applications from the users perspective, and work hard to try and make their experience a positive one.
The purpose of this project was to re-design the ORNGT association's existing wordpress site. I used modern, mobile first design techniques that incorporated the client's design requests into an eye-catching, user friendly interface. The site is based on Wordpress and includes forms, social media integrations, and an event calendar.
Press play on the video to see a demo of game play. The inspiration for this game is breakout but with a twist! Built in unity and C# this game includes a lives counter, score counter, background audio and sound effects. The main menu screen allows the player to start or quit the game.
In this newest revision, the site was built from scratch using SVG's combined with bootstrap for improved design aesthetics. Javascript animations were also used on various elements to elevate the professional feel of the website.
